About Intro Camps

Adaptive athletics have been modified to meet the abilities of injured or ill individuals. All wounded warriors enrolled in Navy Wounded Warrior are encouraged to include adaptive athletics in their recovery plans to rebuild strength and endurance. Sports also help build self-esteem, lower stress levels, and invite service members to rejoin a team environment.

Navy Wounded Warrior's Sports Camps are a week-long opportunity to try multiple adaptive sports. Participants are encouraged to try as many sports as they can to meet and build connections with other service members who are also going through transitional, healing, and recovery journeys.

For any questions or to submit your forms (see below), please contact: Gabriel Coutino and Amber Strittmatter.

Numquam Navigare Solus – Never to Sail Alone

Navy Wounded Warrior ensures wounded, ill, and injured Sailors and Coast Guardsmen never sail alone. Our program provides comprehensive and personalized non-medical care management, resources, and advocacy. We empower our warriors by developing and implementing holistic recovery goals that will navigate their recovery journey and create a strong foundation for continuing service or transitioning to civilian life. Sailors and Coast Guardsmen may self-refer to Navy Wounded Warrior, or be referred by a loved one, their command leadership, medical team, chaplain, or others in their circle of care.
