About Intro Camps
Adaptive athletics have been modified to meet the abilities of injured or ill individuals. All wounded warriors enrolled in Navy Wounded Warrior are encouraged to include adaptive athletics in their recovery plans to rebuild strength and endurance. Sports also help build self-esteem, lower stress levels, and invite service members to rejoin a team environment.
Navy Wounded Warrior's Sports Camps are a week-long opportunity to try multiple adaptive sports. Participants are encouraged to try as many sports as they can to meet and build connections with other service members who are also going through transitional, healing, and recovery journeys.
For any questions or to submit your forms (see below), please contact nwwhqadaptivesports@us.navy.mil.

Numquam Navigare Solus – Never to Sail Alone
As an official Department of the Navy program within Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), Navy Wounded Warrior ensures Sailors and Coast Guardsmen never sail alone as they navigate a life-changing or career-altering diagnosis or condition. Our program serves as a central resource to bring together service members, their command leaders, medical teams and social-support services to offer peace of mind and concrete guidance for what comes next. Adaptive sports are just one part of the program that creates a strong foundation for continued service or a successful transition to civilian life.
