The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) offers a wide range of exceptionally useful benefits to wounded warriors. To help navigate VA’s benefits system, a Federal Recovery Coordinator assigned to Navy Wounded Warrior – Safe Harbor liaises with the VA to access recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration benefits and services for wounded warriors.
The Veterans Benefits Administration can share information on VA benefits for wounded warriors; call 800-827-1000. Enrollees in Navy Wounded Warrior – Safe Harbor are encouraged to reach out to their non-medical care management team to connect with the Federal Recovery Coordinator.
