Legal Affairs

Navy Wounded Warrior can connect wounded warriors and their families or caregivers with appropriate Navy Legal Services Command attorneys for advice and mentorship on a range of legal issues.

The Navy attorneys can explain and provide advice on issues related to:

  • VA and naval policies, procedures and benefits
  • Administration
  • Reserve affairs
  • Medical Evaluation Board/Physical Evaluation Board processes

Navy attorneys can also help family members of catastrophically wounded warriors determine if guardianship options should be considered.
