Esports

Navy Wounded Warrior Esports is a recreation initiative that provides in-person and online recreation and social opportunities through competitive esports. In addition to the thrill of competition, this event is also a great opportunity for Navy Wounded Warrior enrollees to connect with others who share a passion for gaming and are also on healing, recovery, and rehabilitation journeys. 

Navy Wounded Warrior is hosting an online Esports tournament on Saturday, September 30, at 1400 ET! During the event, Wounded Warriors will go head-to-head in a day-long 2v2 tournament featuring fan-favorite Rocket League. Space is limited, early registration is highly recommended.

ELIGIBILITY: This program is for active-duty Sailors and Coast Guardsmen currently enrolled in Navy Wounded Warrior. Enrollees on the Temporary Disability Retired List (TDRL status) will be placed on a waitlist after registering. Service members who are not currently enrolled in Navy Wounded Warrior are not able to participate in in this tournament. Learn more about getting enrolled.


Rocket League

Saturday, September 30

Rocket League is a free download and can be played on PC, XBox, PlayStation, or Nintendo Switch. Please download it on your preferred platform before the September 30 tournament.

Navy Wounded Warrior coordinates the non-medical care of seriously wounded, ill and injured Sailors and Coast Guardsmen. Staff provide individualized resources and guidance on the Medical Evaluation Board process, pay and benefits, caregiver resources, bedside travel, job training, childcare, transportation and more. The program involves families and caregivers to optimize the success of the wounded warriors' recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration activities. Participation is voluntary and service members must be enrolled to take advantage of this program. Sailors and Coast Guardsmen can self-refer or be referred by their commands, family members, chaplains, medical teams, or peer for consideration.
